My name is Makenzie Gregersen. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and fell in love with Southeast Idaho upon my first visit. I’m now blessed to call Pocatello home with my husband and daughter. My passion for childbirth began the first time I was present at a birth. My sister invited me to be an active part in the birth of my nephew, and being pregnant for the first time at that time, I was absolutely inspired. That inspiration has yet to fade. This is such an exciting time in your life, and I am so grateful that you might consider me to be your doula.
I believe that the time surrounding pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period are some of the most sacred, magical, and transformative periods in a woman’s life. I am honored to potentially be a part of this incredible journey with you. I have so much passion for the strength that we as women have within ourselves and value the instincts we have to make informed choices for ourselves and our babies. As your doula, I will be here to help support you emotionally and physically throughout your pregnancy and birth experience. However and wherever you choose to give birth, my ultimate goal is for you to feel supported throughout, confident in yourself, and at the end of it all, to be proud of your strength and capabilities.
Birth Package:
- Free in person consultation
- 2 Prenatal visits to discuss birth preferences, labor support, birth education, and what support you need as an individual, partners welcome
- Written copy of your birth preferences
- 1 Prenatal Visit with your provider
- Phone and text support throughout your pregnancy
- On call 24/7 after 37 weeks
- Support throughout labor and up to two hours after birth
- Access to my personal library
- 1-2 Postpartum visits
I believe that finances should not be a barrier to a woman obtaining needed birth support. If finances are a concern, please feel free to reach out to discuss payment plans, trades, or other methods of payment.
