Mackenzie Mayo

Welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy! As you are entering a new  chapter in your life, you might be searching for support or guidance. A  doula is a great option to assist you with both of these needs during  pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am delighted that you are  considering me as your doula in this journey! I believe all women  deserve emotional, physical, and informational support.

As your doula, I will be there throughout your pregnancy to help you  learn, process, and plan for birth and postpartum. During labor and  birth, I am a continuous support to you, and if applicable, your  partner. After the baby is born, I will stay with you for up to two  hours to assist in breastfeeding and to help you become settled in your  environment. One week postpartum, I will visit you in your home to  ensure you are doing okay and help you process your journey, assist in  light housework, or provide any more education/resources you need.

I am very passionate about a mother’s journey and the support she  receives throughout it. You deserve to feel empowered and surrounded by  love and support to help you birth however you feel most comfortable, as  well as heal after birth! I have connected with childbirth and  pregnancy since I was a young girl and have earned a Bachelor’s Degree  in Marriage and Family Studies. I have since been certified as a DONA  birth doula. I am also consistently learning and increasing my education  through the study of new programs and resources.
