Congrats on your pregnancy Mama! It is my life's calling to help mothers feel empowered by their birth. I have 2 children of my own and those experiences have given me a tremendous amount of love for childbirth, and showed me the pure power and strength of motherhood. Birth has the potential to be one of the most magical, empowering, special experiences in life. It is normal, as well as common, to have fears about childbirth. I understand those fears, and we will work through them together. Knowledge is power! It is my goal to educate mothers on pregnancy and birth and all their possible options. I also believe the partner is so important and want them to play an active role in your support. We will all work as a team for the best birth outcome for your specific wants and needs. If you are without a partner I will help fill that space. We can't always control birth but we can control how we prepare and react to situations. I believe there should be informed consent with everything in life, and that obviously includes what happens with your body. You do have choices during pregnancy and birth as long as you know your options. I try to always encourage a positive mindset as we navigate this time together. Pregnancy and childbirth is an emotional ride but I want to help you enjoy the ride! I strive to have the memory of your birth be protected. It is one if the times in your life you will remember forever!  I support any birthing method you as the parents choose; hospital, home, cesarean, medicated, unmedicated, VBAC, etc. I am respectful of anything you as the family choose for the birth of your baby, I am solely here for support! I have been in the relaxation field for 9 years, and the health care field for 6 years. I am a DONA trained birth doula.
