I am a friend, sister and mother. I am a certified prenatal yoga teach and trained doula. My goal is to empower women in every part of their lives through yoga, cycle awareness and doula support. I was brought to this work through a myriad of experiences including loss and high risk pregnancies. After two difficult birth experiences I decided I needed to do things differently. During my last pregnancy, I completed my prenatal yoga and doula training; I loved every minute of it. Even though I was considered high risk during that pregnancy as well, my experience was entirely different. I went into it feeling prepared and empowered. I want to help support other women to have the same kind of positive birth experience. Birth is an experience of the mind, body and soul. My yoga and meditation training helps me maintain a holistic mindset and I’m always looking to expand my knowledge and skill set.
