Hi! My name is Brianna Holbrook and I am a certified birth doula. I was born and raised in Eagle River, Alaska, and currently live and serve in Rexburg, Idaho. We have two little boys that are 15 months apart and their names are Aiden and Michael. What started me on my journey to becoming a doula was Aiden’s birth. It was an experience I never wanted to have again. It left me broken for months and no one seemed to know what I was feeling physically or emotionally. I was also having a hard time bonding with my newborn because of the birth experience I had. Six months later, I became pregnant with my second; Michael. I wanted to change my birth experience this time around and heal the hurt that had been placed inside me. I wanted to know how birth could be an empowering event and then to help women achieve that. I decided the best route to take was to become a doula. Through the knowledge I gained from becoming a birth doula, I was able to completely turn my second birth into a healing and empowering experience. I no longer have any anxiety around giving birth because I know I have the strength to do what my body was created for; without being left broken! I’m so excited to help women realize the amazing potential they have as birthing mothers. Something that makes me stand out as a doula, is my prices for college students/families. I understand what it’s like to be a poor college student and not able to afford a doula. That being said, my rates are low and suited to your family’s needs. Please contact me for my information.
