Hello and congratulations; I’m excited to be traveling with you on your pregnancy journey.
Each birth is important, unique, and will be your everlasting gift to share with whom you will. I practice in the world of birth because I believe every birth would be made better by having a doula. I am passionate about providing well researched evidence on the topics surrounding birth. I enjoy sharing knowledge and discussing birth options with my clients. I am a very empathic person and can typically determine what a person needs through non-verbal cues and observation; which is beneficial during my clients labor. I work throughout the pregnancy with partners to develop a strong supporting role between partner and mother. I encourage my clients to have at least one support person during their entire labor. My ultimate goal is to have my clients use the information that we discuss to cope with and understand their beautiful birthing experience.

I have worked extensively with first time mothers and truly enjoy being present for the transition between maidenhood and motherhood. I have attended many births in hospital and am well adapted to functioning in that setting. I have cloth diapering and baby wearing knowledge to share. I love attending birth: I would be honored to attend yours.
